Mariah Carey was awesome

I went to Mariah Carey’s concert yesterday in vegas..it was awesome!

I was a bit worried about her performance because of her recent shaky performances. Well, at least that’s what the media wants to constantly focus on. But Mariah Carey’s performance was inspiring. Of course, she is older now and does sound slightly different from her performances she did 20 years ago but it still doesn’t change the fact she is the highest selling female artist of all times.

Only MC can pull off a show that consists of 18 number 1 hit singles. They can say the record company manipulated the numbers, gave outrageous discounts to sell her hit singles..whatever. She still hit all of the high notes throughout the concert and I can assure that she wasn’t lip syncing.

It is inspiring to actually see MC perform these legendary songs right in front of me (I was in the forth row from the stage). Despite her difficult private life, MC keeps on going and I am confident that she will come back stronger than before.
