Creating your blog website

If you enjoy blogging, you may want to think about making money from your website. Google adsense has a huge network and they accept small start-up websites. But one thing that I want to emphasize here is that it takes enormous effort to get enough traffics to your website after creating a useful website for readers. So it is important that you actually create a website and blog about something you are interested in. Otherwise..it is going to be hard because you are going to need to invest a lot of unpaid hours into this project so you might as well blog about your passion. Google adsense is becoming more selective so the more knowledge you can offer through your website, the higher chance your website will be accepted into Google adsense.

I don’t want to discourage you or anything but it is rare for bloggers to make more than $1 a day…even after a year of blogging..T-T Sad reality but that’s how hard you have to work to make money blogging legitimately. So let’s talk about how you can start blogging..well, first of all, you need a website!

The easiest way to do this is to go to blogger and sign up to create an account and create your first blog. For instance, if you want to create a blog on Japanese food, you can come up with a domain (website address)..japanesefood.blogspot.com <---- Once you come up with a URL, your website is going to look like this. If you want to have a customized domain such as japanesefood.com, japanese food.org, blogger has a few affiliates website hosting services that you can pay to have your website hosted on their servers. I like using blogger because blogger is part of google adsense, and you can apply for google adsense account with .blogspot.com without getting a customized website. but Google will not accept japanesefood.wordpress.org so please be careful. It works only for blogger because blogger is now part of Google. There are many companies which offer such services. For example, godaddy.com is pretty good and wordpress also gives you an option to get a customized domain name by going through their affiliate companies which offer hosting services. When you get a domain, it is good to also get a website builder. For example, Godaddy.com offers domain name, hosting service and professional website builder (you can choose templates) all in one place. Bluehost.com also offers such service. I like website builder package because there is no need for you to learn HTML codes, CSS...javascript and all the fun computer programming stuff...Believe me! I've tried then I realized that I just wasn't a tech savvy person. I am familiar with technical stuff but I am not comfortable creating a website from scratch using dreamweaver or other software. Make sure you create a professional looking website with resourceful content..you should have 25 pages or more preferably before applying for Google adsense.
