Hikaru Utada is returning!

Hikaru Utada is a very successful J-Pop artist and we are so excited for her return! We’ve heard various rumors about her return but this seems to be legitimate. Utada has confirmed that she is finishing up the last line of her new song that will be used for an NHK TV drama.

Drama will be aired in April, so we fans cannot wait to hear her song!

This will be Utada’s first official release since 2012’s Evangelion and she has taken a break. It is understandable as she has led a very busy public life throughout her teenage years. She got married to an Italian bartender in 2014 and gave to baby boy last year!

I hope she will sing about her new family..I am looking forward to her continued growth as one of the greatest female Japanese artist of all time.
