Mt. Fuji is the highest mountain in Japan. (3,776-meter high!!) but we have been very concerned about the eruption which could happen at any moment. I don’t know if this is the case or not but I remember my Japanese friends were all worried about Mt. Fuji erupting, and it was going to be the end…of Japan!

Mount Fuji is registered on UNESCO’s list of World Heritage cultural sites and it symbolizes Japan. That’s one of the most popular tourist spots, and it is breathtakingly beautiful when cherry blossoms bloom in Mt. Fuji area. The researchers warn that there might be a possibility of another violent eruption of Mount Fuji. It is pretty scary, and that’s the thing about living in Japan.
