Great White Shark Dies After 3 Days in Captivity at Japan Aquarium

I am fascinated by the Great White Sharks, the largest predatory fish. The move Jaws was so popular and I watch shark week every year.I am afraid of them ( of course) because of all the reports of killing people. But they fascinate me so much.
“The Great White Sharks are known for the high death rates in captivity.”
I have never seen them at the aquariums both in Japan or in the U.S. The Great White Sharks are known for the high death rates in captivity. So it is a shame that this one that was accidentally caught by Japanese fishermen and then transported to Churaumi aquarium in Okinawa for exhibition. But it died in less than 3 days!
It is very difficult for the great white sharks to live in captivity. They need to keep swimming to get oxygen. So far the Monterey Bay Aquarium is the only one that managed to successfully keep a young female great white shark at their aquarium for 198 days and they released the shark back into the world.
