Mochi but Mochi Hot Cakes?

I guess this is a new thing as I had not heard about this new dessert until today. The best part is that you don’t even need a rice cooker to make rice for the cake part!

Whatis Mochi Hote Cakes?

Of course I know what Mochi is and it is my favorite Japanese dessert. I know Mochi ice cream but have never heard of Mochi Hot Cakes..

Basically it’s is a Japanese style pancake as mochi is used as a base.

How to make Moshi Hot Cake

How To Use
For 4 pancakes (1/2 bag):
• Break 1 egg and pour 120ml milk in a bowl and whisk thoroughly. Add the pancake mix combine until there are no lumps.
• Heat a frying pan, wipe with a damp cloth to cool a little and add 1/4 of the pancake mix.
• Heat on a low flame for 3 1/2mins. Flip the pancake and cook for a further 3 minutes until brown on both sides.
