Japanese major cities are extremely crowded and people have to share scarce living spaces. But Japanese architects have used these small spaces efficiently to create unique and stunning houses. Literally the house is built in a parking space sized area. In recent years, Japanese architects have built steller houses with limited spaces. You find unusual and asymmetric houses here..I grew up in the countryside with full of rice fields so we didn’t have to build a house in a parking lot space. 🙂

When you enter into these ultra small houses, you will be surprised because the space looks much bigger. It is fascinating to see how the space is used in this Japanese home. I get dizzy just by staring at this picture. lol Even though it’s built in parking lot space, you can still enjoy living in this home as long as you don’t mind climbing the stairs.
