Have you ever watched the Long Island Medium? It’s a hit TLC reality TV show series, and I have been Theresa Caputo’s fan since the first episode. Not only that Theresa is very gifted but also funny and she has the power to turn stubborn skeptics into believers instantly.
Her laugh is so contagious and that is why I never miss her episode. Theresa has lots of fans but also has haters who go out of their ways to post blog entries stating how fake she is.
I don’t really care what these skeptics say. I do believe that there is a life after death and it’s partly because of my upbringing. I grew up non-religious like 99% of Japanese people are back home. But culturally, we tend to believe that souls can remain with us if something is left unsaid before their passing.
I used to be so scared of spirits, ghosts..anything unknown. I don’t have the ability to communicate with those who are crossed over like Theresa does..well, if I had that kind of gift, I would join the club and learn how to do what she does! 🙂 I get scared of the unknown easily so I am glad that I don’t have the special gift.
At the same time, I would like to think that my grandmother is still watching over me and her soul is with me..that makes me feel more reassured and emotionally stronger. Nobody knows what really happens after we die, but I like more people like Theresa will become famous.
It is pretty obvious that audiences are truly impressed by Theresa’s readings and their reactions cannot be fake.
My Japanese grandmother is still healthy and alive fortunately. That means that I have three people who have already crossed over in the past. I feel very strongly connected to my Thai grandmother and I miss her everyday as I did not get to say good bye before she departed the physical world. 🙁
